Mike was a wonderful father, husband and friend. Wendy knew him before we all started High School at East in 1960, through 1962 and graduation. We met up again at Millington, Tennessee, in the US Navy Hospital. Mike and Dan were in the Navy and worked at the hospital. We all lived in base housing. It was a wonderful time. It was a great friendship. Shortly thereafter, Mike found out he had cancer. He fought a brave battle but died May 20, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee; and was buried May 23, 1968 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Mike missed some wonderful years and we think of him often.
